KSA MA film making 2023
I am a documentary filmmaker from Japan, currently based in London. From my own background as a #YoungCarer and #Siblings myself, I am deeply interested in making films on these themes.
During my postgraduate studies, I directed two documentaries, one about my brother with ADHD and the other about the experiences of women in the UK living as young carers. Those short documentaries were discovered by Carers Trust and Young Carers Alliance in the UK, and with their support, I am now working on my next project.
My current career goal is to focus on people facing social challenges, contribute to the learning of social care supporters around the world and produce film content accessible to all.
