KSA MA film making 2023
I am a filmmaker from Shanxi, China, who specializes in optimizing storytelling through post-editing and expressing different emotional feelings through audio-visuals.
My films are mostly realistic documentaries and literary films. Because of my childhood poverty, which did not improve until I was eighteen, I have a preference for recording the hardships of life in the world and the weakness and determination of individuals in such a life. At the same time, as my hometown is not an open and advanced big city like Beijing or London, people here are relatively conservative. The majority does not yet recognize feminism and minority groups. I am now trying to record the voices of these individuals in a long-term documentary.
My goal is to continue finding my own self-actualization through the path of filmmaking while hoping to make more female and minority voices heard through my films. I am currently working in the film industry around the world and constantly looking for more opportunities.
