Cristina Barillari

Cristina Barillari is an Italian Filmmaker and Film editor with a passion for social and politics subjects. She’s always been interested in art, music and visual storytelling from a young age. She has been exploring directing, cinematography and editing finding her approach and style close to the Italian Neorealism.

She has just graduated with an MA in Filmmaking at Kingston University where she’s been part of different projects from documentaries to fiction film. Also, she directed her first short film Delivery Boy in June 2019 that has been screened for two weeks in Florence. Set in a small village, the story reflects the social condition of young kids in South Italy.

Since graduating, Cristina has been working as freelance in film specialist roles such as Cinematographer for artist Erika Tan.
Before moving to the UK, she’s been part of the Official Jury Venice Classics at the Venice Film Festival in 2017 at the end of her BA at the University of Florence (Italy)
