KSA MA film making (2019)

Haley is an American filmmaker with a passion for cinematography. She recently graduated
with distinction from the MA filmmaking program at KSA where she was also awarded the Filmmaking Prize in 2019. Previously, she graduated with honours from Georgia College with a BA Theatre degree, where she focused on acting and directing. Her decision to move into film came naturally as she discovered her love of telling stories first through photography and then through video.

During the Master’s program, she worked on nine films where her primary roles were
cinematographer and camera operator. The films she shot continually focused on female
relationships, empowerment, and how we view women in film. The documentary she worked
on, “Art by Female,” which focused on three female artist’s journeys within their field, was
recently shown at She lives Collective festival in London.

She is currently working as a freelance videographer in Atlanta, GA, USA and hopes to continue to work on films that inspire her and push boundaries for women in film.
