KSA MA film making (2008)
Petra Reynolds is a film maker with a passion for socially conscious documentary films. She has worked on various projects from community based film incentives to music videos. The highlights of her career have been travelling to Cuba to make a film about a low budget film festival and working on an oral history project Museum Lives at the Natural History Museum in London. She has had the opportunity to travel the world as work has taken her from Finland to Botswana before settling into London. Petra studied Media and Cultural studies and graduated from Kingston University in 2009 with Masters in film making.
Presenting a female voice and challenging the stereotypical roles of women in film making practice is an inspiration and an objective in her work. Petra is originally from Finland and currently lives in London with her husband and their three young children.
